Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings a frosty makeover! This latest update introduces Koda, a new character with unique arctic abilities, enhanced movement mechanics, and seasonal events.
Koda, a young man from the arctic, utilizes a mystical fox mask granting him Aurora Vision. This ability allows him to detect enemies behind cover (excluding crouching or prone enemies) and highlights enemy locations during parachuting.
The centerpiece of the update is Frosty Tracks – ice-covered rails enabling players to dash, shoot, turn, and use throwables while traversing the map. Strategically placed Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins, collectible even while gliding. These tracks will feature in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.
Aurora Events add another layer of winter magic, appearing in both game modes. Battle Royale features aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad boasts aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Completing event quests by interacting with these items provides a team-wide buff.
