As Genshin Impact enthusiasts eagerly await the 5.4 update, set to launch in just a week, the current version presents a unique opportunity to conquer even the toughest bosses with seemingly endless health reserves. Interestingly, this exploit leverages the Hydro Traveler, a character often overlooked due to their perceived lackluster damage output.
The simplicity of this exploit might surprise those unfamiliar with game mechanics (we won't dive into the programming specifics here). The key components are the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst and the Xiao Lanterns, which players can gather during the Lantern Rite Festival. The trick lies in strategically placing a specific number of Xiao Lanterns around a boss, then unleashing the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst. This combination results in a dramatic reduction of the boss's health bar.
The reason behind this phenomenon is that the Elemental Burst inflicts additional Area of Effect (AoE) damage when it interacts with objects. By positioning a hundred lanterns, the damage can skyrocket into the millions, making short work of any boss.
