Google Play Store may soon introduce a game-changing feature: automatic app launch upon download. This potential addition, discovered through an APK teardown of Play Store version 41.4.19, could significantly streamline the app installation process.
The Details:
Android Authority reports that Google is developing "App Auto Open," a feature designed to automatically open newly downloaded apps. This eliminates the extra steps of locating and launching the app manually. The feature's implementation, however, remains unconfirmed by Google.
How it Might Work:
Upon successful app download, a notification banner will appear at the top of your screen for approximately five seconds. Your device may also alert you with a sound or vibration, ensuring you won't miss the notification. Importantly, this feature will be entirely optional, allowing users to enable or disable it based on preference.
Current Status:
As this information stems from an APK teardown, an official release date remains unavailable. We will provide updates as soon as Google makes an official announcement.
