After more than two years of anticipation, PC gamers of *Grand Theft Auto V* can finally rejoice. A major update scheduled for March 4 will elevate the PC version to nearly match the capabilities of its console counterparts released in 2022 for the PS5 and Xbox Series. Best of all, this update comes at no additional cost to current players, seamlessly transferring their progress in both GTA Online and the Story mode.
The lion's share of this upgrade is dedicated to GTA Online, bringing a wealth of content that was previously exclusive to console players. Additionally, the GTA+ subscription service will now be accessible on PC, offering a range of benefits including the ability to collect profits from in-game businesses at an accelerated rate. Rockstar Games has also bolstered the game's anti-cheat measures, ensuring a fairer playing field for all.

Alongside these enhancements, the update introduces significant graphical improvements. However, this comes with a caveat: system requirements will increase. Players with hardware unable to support the new version can opt to continue playing the older version, which will still receive support from the developers. It's important to note, though, that there won't be any cross-version play, meaning players on different versions cannot join each other in-game.
