Since its inception in 1998, Rockstar has crafted over 30 games, giving us iconic series like Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, and Manhunt. The question is, which ones stand out as the best? Note that this list focuses solely on games developed by Rockstar, excluding titles like LA Noire or Max Payne 2 which they published but did not develop. Red Dead Redemption 2 effortlessly claims the top spot in my S-tier, being my all-time favorite game. It's joined by its predecessor and GTA 5, both trailblazers in the cinematic open-world genre. I also have a special affinity for Max Payne 3 with its mesmerizing bullet time mechanics, and GTA San Andreas, a game I played when I was far too young. On the flip side, the D-tier houses games like Austin Powers: Oh, Behave! and Welcome to My Underground Lair!, which are generally avoided by gamers.
