Author : Patrick Update:May 21,2025

IGN has an exclusive first look at Hasbro's latest addition to the G.I. Joe Classified line, and it's nothing short of spectacular. The new box set introduces Cobra villain Zartan and his Dreadnoks in full heavy metal glory as the band Cold Slither, inspired by a classic episode of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.

The G.I. Joe Classified: Dreadnoks Cold Slither - Band of Vipers action figure set will be an exclusive item at San Diego Comic-Con this summer. Dive into the slideshow gallery below for a detailed view of this impressive set:

The Cold Slither set features 6-inch figures of Zartan, Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch, all decked out for the Band of Vipers World Tour concert. Accompanied by 29 accessories, including a guitar, bass, keytar, and drum set, the set's packaging is designed to replicate the Springfield Theater, adding an extra layer of nostalgia and detail.

This exclusive box set will be available at San Diego Comic-Con, taking place from July 24-27, 2025. Limited quantities will also be available on the Hasbro Pulse website following the event.

For fans of a more retro feel, Hasbro is collaborating with Super7 to introduce Cold Slither Zartan to Super7's ReAction+ line. This 3.75-inch figure, modeled after the classic A Real American Hero toys, features O-Ring construction and vintage-style packaging. It glows in the dark when exposed to UV light and comes with microphone and guitar accessories. The Cold Slither Zartan ReAction+ figure is priced at $20 and will be available for preorder on the Super7 website starting April 3 at 9:15am PT.

Hasbro is also embracing the musical theme by releasing an actual Cold Slither album in collaboration with Reigning Phoenix Music. Here's the official description:

*In 2025, Cold Slither, the iconic heavy metal rock band from G.I. Joe lore, are releasing their highly anticipated debut album. Headlined by the phenomenal self-titled anthem “Cold Slither,” the album delivers 10 electrifying tracks that blend searing distorted guitar riffs, pounding rhythms, and irresistibly catchy, anthemic choruses.*
