Heroes United: Fight x3: A Surprisingly Refreshing Rip-Off?
Heroes United: Fight x3 is a straightforward 2D hero-collecting RPG. You assemble a team of diverse characters and battle enemies and bosses. While the gameplay itself is unremarkable – we’ve seen this formula countless times – there's something oddly captivating about this particular release.
The game's social media presence and official website reveal a surprising cast of characters. A closer look reveals some strikingly familiar faces – Goku, Doraemon, and Tanjiro, to name a few – whose appearances seem… unauthorized, to put it mildly.
The audacity of including these recognizable figures without apparent licensing is almost admirable. It's a brazen display of "shovelware" in the best possible way, a nostalgic throwback to a time when such blatant rip-offs were more common.
While the blatant copyright infringement is undeniable, it's hard not to chuckle at the sheer chutzpah. It's a refreshing change of pace from the usual mobile game releases.
