Bethesda's upcoming Update 3 for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will arrive next week, bringing several improvements and fixes. The update, initially teased on Twitter, will introduce support for Nvidia DLSS 4, encompassing Multi-Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
While complete patch notes are pending, Bethesda aims to address critical bugs that have plagued the game since its December launch. A previous announcement highlighted the February update's focus on enhanced graphics and bug fixes impacting completion rates and gameplay mechanics (vine climbing, wall traversal in Sukhothai). Whether all these issues are resolved in next week's patch remains to be seen.
Since its release on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny has attracted 4 million players. The MachineGames title received widespread critical praise and multiple awards, including three D.I.C.E. Awards. A PlayStation 5 version is anticipated this spring.
Harrison Ford, the iconic Indiana Jones, recently commented on Troy Baker's portrayal of the character, stating that Baker's performance demonstrates that "you don't need artificial intelligence to steal my soul." In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Ford expressed his satisfaction with Baker's performance, emphasizing the actor's talent and the unnecessary use of AI. He praised Baker's work as "brilliant."
