Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Unveiled!

DbD Junji Ito Collection Features Terrifying New Skins From Several of His Famous Works

Prepare for a chilling collaboration! Dead by Daylight (DbD), the popular asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, is teaming up with renowned Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito. This partnership brings eight terrifying new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works.

A Collection of Nightmares

For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique brand of surreal horror. Now, his chilling creations are invading the world of Dead by Daylight in what's being billed as the "ultimate horror collaboration."

The collection features skins based on Ito's most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." Killers receiving new skins include The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with updated audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit gets a Tomie skin, and The Artist transforms into Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new Ito-inspired outfits.

Junji Ito himself was involved in bringing his characters to life in DbD. A video on the official Dead by Daylight X (formerly Twitter) account shows Ito's delighted reaction to seeing his creations in-game. He commented on how they became even more frightening in their new video game form. He even participated in a gameplay session, taking on the role of The Artist as Miss Fuchi.

The Junji Ito Collection launches January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Get ready to face your fears!
