Some of the most sought-after LEGO Harry Potter sets come with a high price tag. For the most impressive builds, expect to spend well over $100. That’s why whenever a popular set goes on sale, I make it a point to share the news quickly. Right now, as part of its Presidents' Day promotions, Amazon has reduced the price of the Hogwarts Castle and Grounds set.
If you're searching for a great Harry Potter gift idea, this set is one of my top recommendations. With the current 20% discount, it matches the price we saw during last year’s Black Friday sales.

Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle and Grounds
Includes 2,660 pieces that let you recreate your own Hogwarts castle.
$169.99 save 20% → $135.95 at Amazon
After building the LEGO Hogwarts Castle and Grounds set at launch, we described it as a "beautiful, compact version of Harry Potter's iconic home." This detailed scale model features the castle and its grounds, complete with the Main Tower, Astronomy Tower, Great Hall, courtyards, bridges, greenhouses, boathouse, and the Black Lake. You'll also discover fun interior details like the Chamber of Secrets and the Winged Key room as you build.
Thanks to the 20% discount, you save $45 off the original price. While $135.95 is still a significant investment, this is the best deal we’ve come across since the set debuted last year. If you're drawn to this style but seeking something more affordable, there are other appealing options worth exploring.

If you already own the Hogwarts Castle set, you'll be glad to know that LEGO continues to release new Harry Potter sets on a regular basis. Recent arrivals in 2025 include Hogwarts: Castle Flying Lessons, Malfoy Manor, Hagrid and Harry’s Motorcycle Ride, and the Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops. Most of these are budget-friendly, with the exception of the Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops, priced at $200. Still, that’s a more accessible alternative to the full Diagon Alley build, which ranks among the most expensive LEGO sets available.
