Kirisaki-themed Skins for Loki and Hela
NetEase announced via Marvel Rivals' Twitter (X) on April 21 that new skins for Loki and Hela are on the way. These skins, named Loki's Shin Sagi-Shi and Hela's Yami no Karasu, draw inspiration from the Marvel's Kirisaki Mountains featured in the Demon Days series, which reimagines Marvel characters through the lens of Japanese folklore and mythology.
Marvel Rivals has already embraced this theme with the recent release of Peni Parker's Yatsukahagi skin, and more are promised based on their social media teases. Loki and Hela's new outfits will be available starting April 25 at 2:00 UTC. Although pricing details haven't been disclosed yet, these skins are expected to come bundled with unique emotes, stickers, and other goodies.
In conjunction with the skin reveal, Marvel Rivals launched Art Vision Vol. 01, a video series where art developers delve into their creative processes behind the game's visuals. To celebrate the launch of Season 2: Hellfire Gala, Marvel Rivals is hosting an online event where fans can win free rewards. Players are encouraged to find welcome signs placed around the new Krakoa Map, strike a pose, take a screenshot, and then share it by retweeting or commenting on the event post.
Ten lucky participants will win an exclusive Jeff the Land Shark Hand Fan, while another ten will receive special Series 2 Fridge Magnets. The event concludes on April 25, with winners being announced on April 29.
