When Are New Lord of the Rings Movies Coming Out?
Alongside The Rings of Power Season 3, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema are working on "multiple" new Lord of the Rings movies. This collaboration follows Embracer Group's acquisition of Middle-earth Enterprises, which includes the film and game rights to LotR and The Hobbit, in 2022. The first movie from this partnership, The War of the Rohirrim, was released in late 2024. The next anticipated film, The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, is slated for a 2026 release.
