NetEase's Marvel Rivals mistakenly bans innocent players. The developer, NetEase, issued a public apology for wrongly banning numerous players who were using compatibility layers like those for macOS, Linux, and Steam Deck. These players were flagged as cheaters during a recent anti-cheat sweep. The bans have since been lifted.

Meanwhile, a separate issue concerns the in-game character ban mechanic. Currently, this feature is only available to Diamond rank players and above. NetEase has yet to officially respond to this feedback.
