NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a generous gift: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! This surprise addition to the battle pass is just the beginning of the exciting new content. Dracula's attack on New York City sets the stage, with the Fantastic Four leading the charge against the iconic vampire. The season runs from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.

Season 1 introduces Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman to the playable roster, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class character.

Players can earn free cosmetic rewards, including the Peni Parker Blue Tarantula skin (page 3 of the battle pass) and the Scarlet Witch Emporium Matron skin (page 9). While the Peni Parker skin is standalone, the Scarlet Witch skin comes with a free emote; however, the MVP animation requires the premium battle pass. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin through quest completion.

The in-game shop boasts new premium skins: Invisible Woman's "Malice" skin (black and red with a menacing design) and Mister Fantastic's "The Maker" skin (dark gray and blue with a masked appearance).

The Season 1 battle pass offers 990 Lattice (approximately $10) for full access, but numerous free cosmetics are available through quest completion and Chrono Token earning. The abundance of new content has generated considerable excitement among Marvel Rivals players.
