Get ready to challenge for the title of Sorcerer Supreme with the thrilling new limited-time mode in Marvel Snap: Sanctum Showdown. This exciting event, available until March 11th, introduces a fresh competitive format with unique snapping mechanics and a different victory condition.
In Sanctum Showdown, the race is on to be the first to reach 16 points, diverging from the traditional six-turn play. The heart of this mode is the Sanctum location, which awards the highest points each turn, making it crucial for your strategy. Snapping in this mode takes on a new dimension; starting from turn three, you can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's value by one point, keeping the game dynamic and intense.
Each match in Sanctum Showdown requires one Scroll to enter, but victory rewards you with another, keeping the momentum going. You begin with 12 Scrolls, and every eight hours, you'll receive two more. Should you deplete your Scrolls, you have the option to buy more for 40 Gold. Every match, win or lose, contributes to your Sorcerer Rank and earns you Charms. These can be exchanged in the Sanctum Shop for exclusive cosmetics or new cards.
Thinking of using Captain Marvel or Dracula to dominate? Think again. To maintain balance, certain cards and locations are banned in this mode, including those with abilities that affect final outcomes. Cards like Debrii are also off-limits to prevent one-sided strategies.
Craft the ultimate deck for this challenge using our comprehensive Marvel Snap tier list. If you're eyeing cards such as Laufey, Gorgon, or Uncle Ben, Sanctum Showdown offers your exclusive chance to unlock them before they become available in the Token Shop on March 13th. Utilize Portal Pulls for a shot at these cards, along with up to four Series 4 or 5 cards.
