Marvel Snap Update Echoes Captain America: New World

The latest season of Marvel Snap has arrived, focusing on the theme of legacy. Sam Wilson takes center stage as the new Captain America, introducing fresh mechanics that change the flow of your matches. Joined by characters like Diamondback and Thaddeus Ross, this update adds new strategic depth, offering plenty of new content to explore this month.

Sam Wilson's debut in Marvel Snap features a Season Pass that mirrors his journey from Falcon to Captain America. His card ability summons Cap's Shield at the start of each match, placing it at a random location. You can move the Shield across the board; while indestructible, it grants Sam +2 Power whenever it arrives at his location.

The game's roster continues to grow with new characters launching throughout February. Joaquín Torres arrives on February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on February 11th. Redwing joins on the 18th, and Diamondback rounds out the month on February 25th. These Series 5 cards will cycle through the Token Shop and Spotlight Caches, giving you multiple paths to acquire them.

Marvel Snap is also welcoming two new locations. The Smithsonian Museum grants an additional +1 Power to all Ongoing abilities at the location. Madripoor, on the other hand, boosts the highest-cost card there by +2 Power after each turn. Both locations encourage creative deck-building, pushing you to adapt your strategy to thrive this season.

For collectors, February introduces new albums filled with avatars, emotes, and variants. The Viktor Farro album launches on February 4th, rewarding players with items like a Darkhawk variant and collector's tokens. Later, the Lemon Fashion album debuts on February 25th, offering exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content.
