MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

Peep Demo Theater Returns

MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB, and within its rating summary, it was revealed that the Peep Demo Theater feature will make a comeback. This feature, originally part of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater's Subsistence and HD Collection, showcases every cutscene featuring the female spy EVA, but with a twist—she appears in her underwear. Players can manipulate the camera freely, zooming in on any part of her body. To unlock this mode, players must collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which requires completing the game four times.

Given that MGS Delta involves players taking on the role of an elite soldier navigating enemy lines, the mature rating due to violence and gore is expected. However, the inclusion of the Peep Demo Theater, often referred to as "Creepy mode," has taken many fans by surprise due to its controversial and sexual nature.

Faster Camouflage System

An exciting update for MGS Delta is the streamlined camouflage system. On March 28, METAL GEAR OFFICIAL shared a video on Twitter (X) demonstrating a new, rapid method for changing camouflage. The caption read, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."

The footage shows that players can now switch their camouflage in under three seconds, a significant improvement over the original MGS3, where changing camo involved pausing the game, navigating menus, and selecting from the Camo section—a process that slowed down gameplay, particularly during stealth missions, and reduced the game's immersive feel.

As the release date of MGS Delta on August 26, 2025, approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating the remake, which promises to bring back beloved features while introducing quality-of-life improvements that will enhance the overall gaming experience. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
