Xbox Game Pass April 2025 Wave 1 Revealed

Microsoft has just revealed the exciting Xbox Game Pass lineup arriving in early April 2025, featuring an impressive mix of first-party and third-party titles including the highly anticipated South of Midnight, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, and other major releases.

This powerhouse month kicks off April 3 with Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (available across Cloud, Console and PC for all tiers), alongside All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X|S), and Wargroove 2 (Console) joining the Game Pass Standard library. But the real showstoppers arrive just five days later on April 8 - South of Midnight (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S) and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition (Console and PC) drop for all subscribers.

South of Midnight represents one of Xbox's biggest 2025 exclusives - Compulsion Games' atmospheric Deep South folklore adventure promises to captivate Game Pass members with its unique setting and mystical gameplay. As Microsoft's description teases: "Journey through the haunting beauty of Southern folklore, mastering ancient powers to overcome supernatural threats and heal your fractured hometown."

The rollout continues with tactical sequel Commandos: Origins (April 9) for Ultimate and PC members, followed by mysterious puzzler Blue Prince (April 10). Hunt: Showdown 1896 wraps up this wave on April 15 exclusively for PC Game Pass subscribers.

April's Game Pass perks refresh brings exciting bonuses including The First Descendant's Beyond the Void Bundle, Candy Crush Solitaire's Sweet Starter Pack, and a special anniversary emote for Sea of Thieves fans.
