Com2uS has just released a delightful new adventure game for Android called Minion Rumble. From the title itself, you can guess it's a charming game. Imagine summoning a capybara with impressive battle stats while fending off zombie-like hordes, all while casually sipping your drink—that's the unique vibe Minion Rumble offers!
Where Is Minion Rumble Available?
You can dive into Minion Rumble if you're in the US, Canada, the UK, Indonesia, Malaysia, or the Philippines. This game blends the casual nature of a roguelike with the excitement of .io-style legion battles. As the Summoner, you lead the charge, commanding a squad that includes Champions and Minions.
The game is filled with quirky yet entertaining elements. Picture a bowmaster fairy and a war-hardened shooter teaming up with a cat Champion to obliterate endless waves of enemies. The gameplay is designed for one-handed, vertical play, and it spices things up by throwing random skill cards and Champions at you during runs. This means your strategy might need to shift on the fly, as relying on the same overpowered swordmaster won't always pan out.
Beyond the thrill of battle, Minion Rumble features a gear system where you can enhance your wand, arrows, or sword as you progress. Plus, there's an offline rewards system that keeps stacking up loot for you, even when you're not playing.
There Are Some Fun Launch Events Happening Right Now
The first event, Pudding Paradise, runs until April 17th. It's a quest-and-dice event where you can earn Pudding Plates to trade for rewards, including Epic Champion Selection Chests.
Following that, the Puddiebean Fusion Festival is live until April 24th. Here, you'll collect Puddiebeans from quests and fuse them into gear, some of which is S-tier.
Don't forget about the pre-registration rewards! You'll receive 10,000 Gold and the Epic Champion Capyboo, a tanky yet adorable unit that's as resilient as it is cute.
Minion Rumble supports seven languages and is free to play. You can find it on the Google Play Store.
While you're at it, be sure to check out our coverage of another new game, MageTrain, a fast-paced, pixel art, snakelike roguelike that's now available on Android.
