Excitement is brewing in the world of Monster Hunter Now, as Niantic introduces a new feature for testing: Monster Outbreaks. They are eager to gather player feedback to refine this feature before its official release. This is your chance to dive into the action and help shape the future of Monster Hunter Now!
When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?
Mark your calendars for the Monster Outbreaks testing, scheduled from April 26th to 27th. The event will run twice daily on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time. Get ready for a thrilling hunt!
During these time slots, specific outbreak points on the map will be overrun with 8-star Black Diablos. The challenge? Team up with fellow hunters to take down 100 of these formidable creatures at each outbreak location within the one-hour window. Remember, this isn't a global tally but a local challenge at each outbreak point.
To participate, you must be at least HR 11. Note that only in-person group hunts are valid; the party feature won't work for this event. Outbreak points are easily identifiable on the map with a unique icon. Tap on the icon to view details and sign up on the roster to let others know when you'll be joining the hunt.
Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!
The mechanics of the event are intriguing. If you team up with three other hunters and successfully defeat one Black Diablos, it counts as four towards the goal of 100. Should you reach this target before the time runs out, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour.
Completing the 100-monster challenge comes with fantastic rewards: 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, using the sign-up roster can earn you a special Outbreak Test I Medal.
Are you ready to join the hunt? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and participate in the Monster Outbreaks testing over the weekend. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to engage with the Monster Hunter Now community and claim your rewards!
