Morikomori Life has officially launched on Android and iOS, exclusively in Japan, published by Realfun Studio. Originally released in China by Level Infinite under Tencent Games, the Chinese version was unfortunately taken down a year ago. Now, fans in Japan can immerse themselves in this serene rural farm life simulation.
The Rural Farm Life Sim Is Back
One of the standout features of Morikomori Life is its stunning visuals. The developers have masterfully captured the cozy essence of rural life through anime-inspired, specifically Studio Ghibli-style art. These scenes are so authentic, you might think they were directly lifted from a Ghibli animated film.
In the game, you take on the role of Kaon, a young Japanese girl. The story begins when she receives a mysterious letter from her grandmother, inviting her to visit the village of Komori where she spent her childhood. As Kaon, you'll rediscover the joys of a peaceful, slow-paced life. The 3D toon shading enhances the warm, inviting feel of the Japanese countryside, making it almost as if you're stepping into a real rural landscape.

Morikomori Life Lets You Experience Slow-Paced Living
Morikomori Life focuses on the joys of a slice-of-life experience. Engage in activities like farming, cooking, fishing, hunting, and even constructing your own home. You can chop wood, mine for ore, and discover rare materials while exploring the countryside.
As you gather resources, you'll unlock new ways to upgrade your house and enhance your lifestyle. Customize Kaon's appearance to reflect your personal style, meet new friends in the village, and prepare meals from foraged ingredients. You can also assist villagers with various tasks, adding depth to your rural experience.
