Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?
In Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics from Sunborn, available on PC and mobile, a crucial question arises: does the pity counter transfer between banners? The short answer is yes, but with important caveats.
Limited Banner Pity Transfer: Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will carry over to the next limited-time banner. This means if you're close to pity on one limited banner, you can switch to another and still benefit from your accumulated pulls. This behavior was observed during the global launch with the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners and has been confirmed by CN players. The pity progress will persist even after those banners are removed from the game.
No Transfer Between Limited and Standard Banners: Crucially, this pity system does not work across limited and standard banners. You cannot build pity on the standard banner and then use it on a limited banner to obtain the featured character.
Soft and Hard Pity: While the hard pity is set at 80 pulls, a soft pity system begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase with each subsequent pull until you reach the guaranteed SSR at pull 80.
This information should clarify the pity system's mechanics in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides and tips, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox location, check out The Escapist.
