Pokémon Go sees the return of Team Go Rocket for Fashion Week and Ho-Oh’s Shadow Raid Day

Get ready for Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over, running from January 15th to 19th! This stylish event brings a wave of exciting challenges and new Pokémon.

Rescue Shadow Palkia by battling Team GO Rocket leader Giovanni. Fashion Week also features Ho-Oh's Raid Day on January 19th, offering a boosted chance to catch a Shiny Ho-Oh and learn the powerful Charged Attack, Sacred Fire. A $5 event ticket unlocks even more rewards.

Two new Pokémon debut: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. Shroodle will hatch from 12 km Eggs. Team GO Rocket will be more prevalent at PokéStops and in balloons, providing increased opportunities to use Charged TMs to remove the Frustration move from your Shadow Pokémon.

New Shadow Pokémon join the roster, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Some may even be Shiny! For the first time, you can use Remote Raid Passes to participate in Shadow Raids, regardless of your location.

A special research task will reward you with a Super Rocket Radar, leading you to Giovanni and Shadow Palkia. Field Research tasks offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Complete a Collection Challenge to earn Stardust and a Trubbish encounter.

Don't forget to redeem your Pokémon GO codes! Ho-Oh's Raid Day runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on January 19th, 2025.
