Pokémon GO is thrilled to announce the arrival of Dynamax Pokémon in the upcoming Max Out season! This exciting new feature will significantly alter gameplay. Read on for all the details.

Max Out Season: September 10th - September 15th

Pokémon Go Dynamax Confirmed for Max Out Season

The Max Out season kicks off September 10th at 10:00 a.m. local time and concludes September 15th at 8:00 p.m. local time. Prepare for a week of oversized Pokémon action!

Dynamax Pokémon Debut!

The season's launch introduces Dynamax battles featuring these 1-star Pokémon:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Skwovet
  • Wooloo

Catch these Dynamax Pokémon (and their evolved forms!), with a chance to snag Shiny versions!

In-Game Events and Rewards:

  • Special Field Research: Complete event-themed tasks for rewards.
  • PokéStop Showcases: Show off your event Pokémon and compete for prizes.
  • Seasonal Special Research: A story-driven research line focusing on Max Battles, awarding Max Particles, a new avatar item, and more. Available September 3rd - December 3rd.

Pokémon Go Dynamax Confirmed for Max Out Season

Max Particle Pack Bundle:

Stock up on Max Particles! A bundle containing 4,800 Max Particles will be available on the Pokémon GO web store for $7.99 starting September 8th at 6:00 p.m. PDT.

Future Updates:

Rumors suggest the arrival of Power Spots next month, serving as key locations for Dynamax battles and Max Particle collection. While Niantic hasn't confirmed this, it's an exciting prospect.

According to Eurogamer, Pokémon GO senior producer John Funtanilla revealed some Dynamax-capable Pokémon will also be able to Mega Evolve. The addition of Gigantamax Pokémon remains unconfirmed, though it was teased at Pokémon Worlds. Niantic promises further details soon.
