Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the information.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

Pokémon GO Fest 2025 is a three-day extravaganza taking place in three global cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

More specifics will be released in March 2025. Remember, event details are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, gameplay, and bonuses. In-person attendees enjoy unique city-specific features, including:

• Rare Pokémon encounters not available through standard gameplay (similar to 2024's Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow).
• Increased Shiny Pokémon rates.
• Exclusive merchandise and themed sets.
• Community hubs and team lounges.

While full details are yet to be revealed, expect a similar experience to previous years. Ticket purchase is required for both in-person and in-game participation.

Two More Pokémon GO Events in January 2025

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two additional events for January:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th (12:00 pm) - January 19th (8:00 pm) local time. Rescue Shadow Palkia, encounter debuting Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12km Eggs), and more Shadow Pokémon. Look out for a fashionable Croagunk in snapshots!

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time. Battle Shadow Ho-Oh in five-star raids. A $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, 50% more XP from Raids, and a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Lucky trainers can teach their captured Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
