Ratatan, the eagerly anticipated spiritual successor to the beloved Patapon series, has just unveiled its official gameplay trailer, offering fans an exciting glimpse into its world. The gameplay trailer provides a thrilling look at Ratatan's mechanics, featuring a battle against a colossal boss crab. It showcases the game's unique blend of rhythm roguelike action, merging the excitement of rhythm games with side-scrolling action. A standout feature is the online co-op mode, which supports up to 4 players, allowing for a cooperative experience that can involve up to 100 characters in a massive melee battle.

Ratatan is being crafted by Hiroyuki Kotani, the creator of Patapon, and features music by the original Patapon composer, Kemmei Adachi. The game's Kickstarter campaign, launched in 2023, has successfully met its console launch stretch goal, ensuring its availability on various gaming platforms.
