What Recharge Drones Do

In R.E.P.O., the Service Station offers a variety of items, some of which are single-use, like Mines and Grenades, while others, such as weapons and drones, come with a "battery life" that can be replenished using Energy Crystals. At the start of your journey, you'll notice a container in your truck designed for charging these items, albeit at the cost of one Energy Crystal per charge.

When you buy additional Energy Crystals, they seamlessly integrate into the container, eliminating any need for manual installation. To recharge an item, simply place it in the yellow bucket adjacent to the container, and watch as it regains its health. This process is essential for maintaining your gear in top condition, readying you to face the horrors of the next level and its monstrous inhabitants.

However, the intensity of some levels can cause your items to wear down quickly, especially with heavy use. While you can recharge them at designated spots using Energy Crystals, you won't always have access to your truck. How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.

The Recharge Drone, like other items and upgrades, becomes available at the Service Station, which you reach after successfully completing a level. This is your chance to gear up for the challenges ahead, provided you have the funds.

Given that items at the Service Station spawn randomly, it might take several visits before the Recharge Drone appears. Once it does, you can purchase it for between $4-5K. This compact cube will occupy one of your inventory slots, so choose to assign it to slot 1, 2, or 3 upon purchase.

You'll notice your items' health status via the battery bar displayed beneath them. To recharge an item, select the Recharge Drone, activate it with the 'E' key, and attach the depleted item.
