Activision has finally dropped the highly anticipated debut trailer for the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 remake, following a wave of speculation and hints. Iron Galaxy Studios, taking the reins from Vicarious Visions (the team behind THPS 1 + 2), is leading the development.
This updated version promises enhanced visuals, the addition of online multiplayer capabilities, and exciting new playable characters: skateboarding stars Rayssa Leal, Nyjah Huston, and Yuto Horigome join the roster. The trailer showcases beloved levels like Airport, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, all meticulously recreated with state-of-the-art technology. A direct graphics comparison between the original and the remake is also featured.
Skateboarding legends Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, and Rodney Mullen return, though Bam Margera's absence is notable. The Digital Deluxe Edition will include exclusive playable characters: the Doom Slayer and Revenant. To further enhance the nostalgic experience, a portion of the original soundtrack, featuring iconic artists such as Motörhead, Gang Starr, and CKY, will be included.
The remastered Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 launches July 11th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-ordering grants access to a June demo and three days of early access to the full game.
