Wonder initially wields the Persona Janosik, inspired by Slovakian folklore and embodying a Robin Hood-esque archetype.

Maintaining the core elements of the Persona series—turn-based combat, social simulation, and dungeon crawling—P5X adds a gacha system for character acquisition.

New Roguelike Game Mode: Heart Rail

Popular Persona content creator, Faz, showcased the new Heart Rail roguelike game mode in his recent gameplay video. Similar to Honkai: Star Rail's Simulated Universe, this mode offers power-up choices, diverse maps, and rewarding challenges.

Strong Sales for SEGA's Full Game Category

SEGA reported strong sales of new and existing titles in its "Full Game" category. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth achieved 1 million units sold globally in its first week, while Persona 3 Reload reached the same milestone, marking the fastest-selling Atlus title ever. Football Manager 2024 also saw impressive player numbers, reaching 9 million since its November launch.

SEGA's FY25 Forecast and Business Restructuring

SEGA announced a restructuring, creating a new "Gaming Business" segment encompassing online gaming, slot machine development and sales (SEGA SAMMY CREATION), and integrated resort operations (PARADISE SEGASAMMY). The company expects to expand its online gaming presence in North America, establishing it as a key business pillar.

SEGA forecasts increased sales and profits for FY2025, projecting 93 billion Yen (approximately 597 billion USD) in revenue for the Full Game segment—a 5.4% increase year-on-year. A new Sonic title is also anticipated for next year.
