Sega has joined the ranks of companies with its own account system, introducing Sega Account, a service designed to enhance user experiences. According to the official website, "SEGA Account is a profile that lets you maximize SEGA's online services and offers a ton of benefits."

By creating a Sega Account, users gain access to the latest updates on Sega and Atlus games, upcoming events, and promotions. Moreover, account holders are entitled to exclusive bonuses and the convenience of linking gaming accounts across various platforms for seamless tracking. In the future, users will also be able to review their gaming records across different titles.

To kick off the launch with a flourish, Sega is offering a special incentive for new account holders. Players who create a Sega Account and link it to a compatible platform account (Steam, PlayStation Network, or Xbox) capable of playing Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii before March 7th will receive a code for the Kazuma Kiryu Special Outfit DLC. This unique outfit transforms protagonist Goro Majima into Kazuma Kiryu's iconic suit. Eligible players will receive their codes starting February 17th, which can be redeemed in-game from February 28th.

We're currently developing such a game, targeting release by the fiscal year ending March 2026."
