Get ready for a dazzling update to Pokémon TCG Pocket! The Pokémon Company has just announced the introduction of Shiny Pokémon with the exciting Shining Revelry expansion. This addition promises to bring a new level of sparkle to the digital card game.
When Are Shiny Pokémon Arriving in Pokémon TCG Pocket?
Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025, as that's when the Shining Revelry expansion launches. This update will feature over 110 new cards, including Shiny versions of fan-favorites such as Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. The digital format will make these cards shimmer beautifully when you tilt them, adding a dynamic visual effect to your collection.
Starting April 1st, you can also get your hands on a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder, perfect for showcasing your prized cards.
In addition to the Shiny Pokémon, characters and Trainers from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will join the fray. Look out for cards featuring Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono. And don't miss out on the new ex Starter Deck missions, available from March 28th to April 27th. Completing these missions will earn you a deck ticket, which can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks.

Exciting news for competitive players: ranked matches are coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket! The inaugural season will start on March 28th and run until April 27th, featuring cards from the Shining Revelry expansion. You'll be matched with players of similar skill levels, ensuring fair and thrilling competition.
