Tsuboyama highlighted the advancements in gaming technology, contrasting the limitations of the original with the enhanced capabilities of the remake. He specifically praised the updated camera perspective, noting the original's fixed angles were a product of technological constraints of the time. The improved camera, he believes, contributes significantly to the game's realism and overall immersion. "To be honest, I’m not satisfied with the playable camera from 23 years ago," he admitted, contrasting it with the improved realism of the remake.

However, Tsuboyama expressed some reservations regarding the marketing strategy, particularly concerning the pre-order bonus content—the Mira the Dog and Pyramid Head masks.
