The recently released "Silent Hill 2 - Immersion Trailer" on the PlayStation channel reveals the game will enjoy at least a year of PS5 exclusivity. While launching on PS5 and PC on October 8th, the trailer's closing moments explicitly state that the *Silent Hill 2* remake will "not be available on other formats until 10.08.2025."Given that a PS6 release isn't anticipated before then, this suggests a potential launch on Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch, among others, in 2025.
PC players can currently pre-order Silent Hill 2 on Steam. Sony's announcement also opens the door for potential releases on other PC platforms like Epic Games Store and GOG by next year. However, this remains speculation until officially confirmed.
