Eclipse Glow Games Unveils "Tides of Annihilation," a New Action-Adventure Title
Revealed at Sony's 2025 State of Play event, Tides of Annihilation is a single-player action-adventure game promising a captivating narrative and intense combat. Developed by the Chengdu-based studio, Eclipse Glow Games (backed by Tencent), the game features a unique blend of Arthurian mythos and a modern-day London ravaged by otherworldly forces.
Players assume the role of Gwendolyn, humanity's last hope, as she navigates a twisted version of London's iconic landmarks. Gameplay involves summoning spectral Knights of the Round Table to aid in combat against formidable foes, including skyscraper-sized bosses inspired by Arthurian legend.
Eclipse Glow Games, boasting a team of over 100 developers with experience on titles like Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin's Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia, describes Tides of Annihilation as a game that will "push the genre forward." Lead Game Producer Kun Fu stated that the game's themes of courage, loyalty, and heroism will resonate with players.
