How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

As soon as you gain access to the open world in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing a personal bed should be high on your priority list. During the Wedding Crashers quest, you have the option to follow either the blacksmith or the miller's questline. Both Radovan and Kreyzl will eventually offer you a bed to sleep in, depending on which path you choose.

In my experience, I opted for Radovan, who is conveniently located in Tachov, closer to your starting point. To get your bed, head to Tachov, engage in Radovan's questline, and complete the smithing tutorial. Upon finishing, you'll gain access to a room next to the forge where you can sleep.

The bed in the room next to the forge in TachovThe bed in this room will be marked as your personal bed on the world map, and you'll also find an inventory chest for storing your belongings. Whenever you need to heal up, simply return to this spot to rest.

Sleeping at Campsites

There will be occasions when you can't make it back to your bed in time. Fortunately, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* features numerous campsites scattered along roadsides and in forests. Some of these might be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before using the facilities, while others may be deserted.

Once you locate a campsite, it will be marked on your map, allowing you to interact with the bedrolls for a nap. Keep in mind that the comfort level at these campsites won't match that of a regular bed, but it's still an effective way to recover.

In dire situations, you might consider using NPCs' beds. However, be cautious; if caught, you might have to deal with the guards unless you can smooth-talk your way out of trouble.

And there you have it—a detailed guide on how to sleep in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and information on the game, including how to use a torch and the best perks to start with, be sure to check out The Escapist.
