This guide explains how to dive into the co-op and multiplayer aspects of the game.
Co-op and Multiplayer Gameplay
Sniper Elite Resistance offers both co-op and competitive multiplayer options.
Co-op:
To play co-op with a friend, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the "Play" section (usually located in the top-left corner of the main menu).
- Select "Host a Co-op Game."
- Invite your friend directly if they're on your friends list (see "Adding Friends" below) or generate an invite code by clicking your username in the top-right corner. Share this code with your friend.
- Once your friend joins, choose a mission and begin playing.
To play with a random player, select "Find a Co-op Game" from the "Play" menu.
Multiplayer:
- Choose "Multiplayer" from the main menu.
- Select your desired game mode.
- Invite friends via your platform's friend system (Steam, Xbox, PlayStation) or using an invite code as described above.
Custom games allow for 1v1 matches against friends.
Adding Friends
Sniper Elite Resistance primarily uses an invite code system. To add a friend:
- Click your username in the top-right corner of the screen to generate an invite code.
- Send the code to your friend.
- Your friend needs to repeat the process and enter your code to connect.
Alternatively, you can add friends directly through your platform's social features (Steam, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network). However, direct friend invites may not be available for all platforms.
Crossplay Support
Sniper Elite Resistance boasts full crossplay functionality across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. However, crossplay interactions are typically managed through the invite code system.
Sniper Elite Resistance is currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
