Marvel Snap's Amazing Spider-Season Swings into Action!

September brings a thrilling new season to Marvel Snap (Free), themed around everyone's favorite web-slinger and his expansive rogues gallery! This season introduces a game-changing mechanic: Activate abilities. Unlike "On Reveal," Activate abilities let players choose when to trigger a card's effect, adding a strategic layer and countering effects that target On Reveal.

The Season Pass card, Symbiote Spider-Man, perfectly embodies this new mechanic. This 4-cost, 6-power card boasts an Activate ability that absorbs the lowest-cost card at its location and copies its text, even re-triggering On Reveal effects! Prepare for some seriously chaotic combinations, especially with cards like Galactus.

Beyond Symbiote Spider-Man, the update introduces a host of exciting new cards:

• Silver Sable: A 1-cost, 1-power card with an On Reveal ability that steals 2 power from the top card of your opponent's deck.

• Madame Web: An Ongoing card that lets you move another card at her location once per turn, offering tactical repositioning.

• Arana: Another 1-cost, 1-power card with an Activate ability. Activating Arana moves the next card you play to the right and boosts its power by +2, making her a key addition to move-based decks.

• Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly): A 4-cost, 5-power card with an Activate ability that creates an identical clone at another location.

Two new locations also join the fray:

• Brooklyn Bridge: A location with the unique rule that prevents players from placing cards there on consecutive turns, demanding strategic card placement.

• Otto's Lab: A location that mirrors Otto Octavius himself. Playing a card here pulls a card from your opponent's hand onto the location, adding an element of surprise.
