Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unveiled an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing Spider-Woman and the inaugural Eidol Champion of 2025, Lumatrix. This update brings a fresh wave of quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all packed with rewarding opportunities for players.

Spider-Woman swings into action on April 17th, leveraging her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills within The Contest. Lumatrix, on the other hand, makes a striking debut on April 9th. This dazzling yet deadly assassin, created by The Founders, uses light manipulation powers to devastating effect. To add Lumatrix to your roster, you'll need to gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids, with the event lasting until June 4th.

The new quest, Spy Games, immerses players in a thrilling narrative featuring Black Widow and Spider-Woman. Together, they delve into the mysterious arrival of the Eidols, navigating through danger and deception to unravel the sinister motives behind Lumatrix's light show. This engaging event runs from March 9th to May 7th.

Adding to the excitement, Deadpool hosts the Red & Dead’s Discount Shed event from April 25th to May 2nd, offering a plethora of special rewards including event currency, crystals, and bonuses, thanks to Red Guardian's persuasion. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th provides players with a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, inspired by the Thunderbolts, will run from April 18th to May 2nd. By achieving various milestones, players can earn Poolshields, which can be redeemed for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, encouraging regular logins for more free rewards.
