育碧新任创意总监Drew Rechner在《星球大战：亡命之徒》的首个大型发布后更新中，分享了提升游戏机制和玩家体验的计划，回应了玩家关于战斗、潜行和操控等关键领域的反馈。根据开发商的公告，他们的“迄今为止最大规模的更新”将于11月21日与游戏在Steam平台的首发和首个DLC一起上线。

开发商更新首先是Rechner对《亡命之徒》社区的热情和支持的衷心感谢，感谢玩家们“围绕游戏创作的粉丝艺术、评论和视频”。但除此之外，Rechner在他作为创意总监向社区发布的第一条信息中，也承认了玩家宝贵的建设性反馈。“感谢你们的分享，帮助我们使游戏变得更好，”他说。

Massive Entertainment已经发布了三个版本更新，直接解决了玩家们的一些最大担忧。这些补丁已经修复了bug，改进了任务动态，并调整了飞车摄像机和碰撞，使玩家在沙漠星球和茂密的丛林中都能获得更流畅的驾驶体验。
