Lucasfilm has officially unveiled *Star Wars: Starfighter*, a highly anticipated new film set to hit theaters on May 28, 2027. Directed by Shawn Levy, the creative mind behind *Deadpool & Wolverine*, this film will star Ryan Gosling in a brand-new role. Set five years after the events of *Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker*, *Star Wars: Starfighter* promises to expand the beloved franchise's universe.
