Street Fighter 6 presented Mai Shiranui gameplay trailer

Three legendary female fighters immediately spring to mind: Nina Williams, Chun-Li, and Mai Shiranui. While Street Fighter x Tekken showcased a clash between Nina and Chun-Li, a rematch isn't on the horizon.

However, Mai Shiranui's arrival as a guest character in Street Fighter 6 changes the dynamic. Notably, her gameplay trailer features a showdown against Chun-Li, a deliberate choice by the developers.

Mai's signature moves are all present, her Super looks spectacular, and she's poised to become a fan favorite in Street Fighter 6. However, Capcom's announcement of a February 5th release date means a three-week wait.

Let's hope the Street Fighter 6 team keeps us engaged with additional content in the meantime.
