Subway Surfers Celebrates 13 Years With Global Tour

Subway Surfers celebrates its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO has prepared an exciting global event for players worldwide. Embark on a worldwide marathon adventure starting May 12th to honor this milestone.

Returning to Where the Journey Began!

The anniversary update kicks off in Copenhagen, adding fresh content to Subway Surfers' original city before introducing a unique daily city-hopping challenge.

Players can dash through Copenhagen and unlock 21 additional iconic locations including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. Progress through these destinations by collecting World Tour suitcase tokens in each city.

This update marks the 200th destination in Subway Surfers' World Tour series, continuing the game's tradition of global exploration since 2013. Currently, players can experience Osaka's vibrant Golden Week celebration.

The Osaka update features neon-lit streets blending tradition with modernity, plus two new characters: Saru (available through Season Challenge) and Oni Hime (special offer). Exciting social features like Player Names and Friend Lists are also launching.

Celebrating 13 Years of Subway Surfers

Since its launch on May 23, 2012, Subway Surfers has grown to 150 million monthly players with over 4 billion downloads worldwide. After visiting 199 cities across 12 years, the game continues to bridge cultures through immersive local environments.

From May 12th to June 1st, players can enjoy anniversary bonus content including two travel-themed characters (Loc and Stevie), exclusive outfits, hoverboards, and special rewards.
