Torerowa, the roguelike dungeon crawler, has entered its fourth open beta phase
This latest version introduces a complete exploration overhaul, fresh items, and expanded gameplay features
Players can now select between PvE and PvP combat modes to suit their playstyle
Torerowa, the multiplayer roguelike dungeon crawler, has launched its fourth open beta today. This gives players access to the most updated version yet, featuring the game's most substantial improvements and new content.
Imagine blending the extraction-style gameplay of Dark and Darker with classic isometric JRPG mechanics - that's Torerowa. You'll battle monsters in real-time while exploring vast dungeons for treasures, all while trying to escape alive with your hard-earned loot.
The new open beta brings several major updates. Players will discover four new equipment types: Belts, Rings, Amulets, and rare monster-dropped Charms that provide unique bonuses. The introduction of Echo Traits adds another layer of customization, with over 150 possible randomized perks that can stack up to five per item.
Enhanced dungeon crawling experience
Dungeon exploration has been completely revamped for this beta. Maps now start undiscovered, requiring players to find and use Sonar items to reveal the layout. Each run features newly randomized maps, ensuring fresh challenges every attempt.
The game now offers both PvP and PvE options through a simple menu toggle. Enemy behavior has been upgraded too - monsters will now swarm when encountered in groups. New trap mechanics add another layer of danger, forcing players to watch their step while navigating the perilous dungeons.
