Upcoming Update Adds New Building, Jukebox, and More

Schedule 1 continues to dominate as one of Steam's top-selling games, and with its consistent updates, it's poised to maintain its popularity. On May 1, solo developer Tyler shared a sneak peek of the upcoming update via a Twitter (X) post.

Tyler's post showcased several intriguing images from the game's next patch, which is nearing its open beta phase. The images reveal a new building named "Stash and Dash," a Jukebox speculated to allow players to customize the game’s soundtrack, and an empty corridor. Although there's no official release date for the update, it will initially be available in the beta branch. To participate, fans can switch their Beta participation to beta in their Steam settings for the game. For further insights, players can check out the game’s Trello board, which outlines TVGS’s ongoing plans and updates.

Plans for Map Expansion

During his inaugural developer stream on Twitch last week, Tyler offered fans a detailed look into his plans and the future of Schedule 1. He showcased some of his 3D modeling work and discussed his vision for a potential map expansion. Tyler plans to introduce a "swampy, slummy area" and expand the upscale side of the town by adding more houses over the cliffs. Following these developments, his next goal is to focus on the island located across the main area.

While these expansions sound thrilling and promise to enhance the game's experience, they may take a while to materialize due to Tyler being a solo developer. Nonetheless, fans are eagerly anticipating what lies ahead in the game's future updates.
