Stealth action game VIVA NOBOTS is currently in its public alpha test phase on Steam! The alpha playtest will run for two weeks, starting from April 24th to May 8th, 2025, ending at 8:59 AM JST. To participate, simply visit the VIVA NOBOTS Steam store page and click on the "Request Access" button to join the playtest.

The developer and publisher, SHUEISHA GAMES, expressed their gratitude in a Steam news post, stating, "Our entire team is sincerely grateful for your support. If you had the chance to play the prototype game VIVA NOBOTS, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share your thoughts and feedback with us. Depending on the feedback from this user test, we may be able to move forward toward an official release!"

Sneak, Steal, and Expose!

VIVA NOBOTS offers an exhilarating multiplayer experience where players must sneakily loot precious treasure while staying vigilant against rival players in 16-player matches. Disguised as one of the many NPC excavation robots in the ancient ruins, players take on the role of a NOBOT—an incognito treasure hunter. The objective is to steal as much treasure as possible to climb the wanted rankings without getting caught. Blend seamlessly with the actual NPC bots, discreetly dig for treasure, and engage in a slots-like roulette mini-game to not only acquire loot but also buffs that help you secure even more rewards.

Players can also use their trusty Doubt Gun to expose sneaky rivals, revealing their true identity and eliminating them from the game. Successfully exposing opponents rewards the player with extra bounty and the treasure the rival dropped. However, caution is key—shooting a real NPC robot will lead to consequences. Real security bots patrol the area, so players must remain swift and stealthy to stay undercover.

To emerge victorious, players must either escape the ruins with their treasure or expose three rivals to gain the ability to perform a "Victory Lap," crowning them the winner. The best NOBOT takes home the prize!
