Steam Milestone Reached Despite Technical Challenges
The highly anticipated sequel experienced a somewhat rough launch. Early Access players reported various problems, including server connectivity issues, frame rate drops, stuttering, black screens, and prolonged loading times. A prominent issue affecting the PvE Operations mode is the "Joining Server Bug," leaving players trapped on the connection screen.
Focus Home Entertainment acknowledged these problems in a community update, expressing gratitude for player feedback and assuring players that fixes are underway. The statement highlighted several common issues, including crashes during initial cinematic sequences and controller malfunctions. They also clarified that linking Steam and Epic accounts is entirely optional and doesn't impact gameplay.
