New Wuthering Waves Update 2.6 Phase II Begins

Wuthering Waves has launched the second phase of its Version 2.6 update, titled By Sun's Scourge By Moon's Revelation. This new phase introduces fresh character banners alongside continued main story and exploration content. Players can also look forward to limited-time login rewards and the debut of two new 5-Star Resonators.

Here are all the details.

The update continues the main storyline with "By Moon's Fated Light," Chapter II Act IX. Following the recent crisis, the story picks up at a victory ceremony hosted by Ceremonial Officer Bruno.

Amid the bonfire celebrations and cheers, an emotionally charged moment unfolds as countless petals descend, symbolizing glory and triumph, and hinting at a long-awaited reunion.

Several new events are now active. "Gifts of the Moon Roamer" offers daily login bonuses until October 8th, 2025. Eligible players at Union Level 8 or higher can claim Radiant Tide x10 and Forging Tide x10 during the event period.

Another event, "Second Coming of Solaris (Ultra)," runs until October 6th. Your objective is to locate anomalies in various scenes, photograph them using the Zoom Camera, and work with Bertolt to analyze your findings.

The "Moonlit Revelation" event is a daily login divination activity available until October 8th. Collect Waveborn Moonstones to decipher Lunar Phases for buffs, and unlock the exclusive Wax and Wane avatar after deciphering seven phases.

New banners are a key feature of Version 2.6 Phase II

Players have a chance to obtain several featured Resonators and weapons. The "Across Time's Waxes and Wanes" banner introduces the 5-Star Resonator Iuno, alongside the 4-Star Resonators Aalto, Baizhi, and Taoqi from September 17th to October 8th.
