Taiko-san Daijiro 3

This application allows you to play TJA files from "Taiko-san Jiro 2".

This application enables playback of TJA files used in the "Taiko-san Jiro 2" software on PC.

★★★★! Important Notice!!! ★★★★

Please note that this app only includes a single sample song. To play additional tracks, you must manually place your own music data into the device's storage or SD card.

Without valid score data (TJA files), you will not be able to play the game.

When upgrading from Taiko Daijiro 2, please be aware that due to Android's enhanced security measures, the default TJA folder located directly under the root directory is no longer accessible. As a result, this app has evolved into a separate and updated standalone version.

We sincerely apologize to users who have left comments in the review section—we appreciate your feedback, but we haven't had the opportunity to read or respond to all of it yet. If you have specific requests or issues, please send us an email and we will make sure to look into them.

Due to the vast number of Android devices available, we regret that we are unable to test the app on every model. We also cannot offer support for devices that fail to launch the app. Please consider closing background tasks using a task killer or similar tool before launching the application.

Please understand that we do not provide any assistance regarding how to obtain TJA files or skin resources. Any inquiries related to these topics will not be addressed.

■ How to Add Songs

Place your TJA music files into the following directory:

/Android/data/com.daijiro.taiko3/files/TJA

This is the designated folder for storing TJA files. The previous path used in Taiko-san Daijiro 2 is now restricted due to Android's security updates.

If you're migrating from Taiko-san Daijiro 2, please use a file management application to copy or move your score files to this new location.

When downloading TJA files from the internet, ensure ZIP archives are saved directly into the "Taiko-san Daijiro 3" folder for proper extraction.

Note: If your genre folder does not contain a genre.ini file, songs inside will appear under the "Uncategorized" category.

■ How to Add Skins

This app supports skin data from "Taiko-san Jiro 2". However, please be aware that some skins may not yet be fully implemented.

Skins from "Taiko-san Jiro" (without the *2 suffix) are not compatible.

Skin data from "Taiko-sanjiro 2" is also not supported.

Depending on the device model and complexity of the skin, performance may be affected and operations could become slower.
