Iron Gate Studio has unveiled a new chapter in their developer diary, giving eager Valheim players an exciting sneak peek into the next biome: The Deep North. A standout feature of this frosty new region is the introduction of its first creature—seals that are so irresistibly cute, they might just make you think twice before hunting them.
In the icy expanses of The Deep North, players will encounter seals with varying appearances based on their quality. For instance, horned or spotted seals offer richer resources than their regular counterparts, encouraging players to make strategic hunting choices to maximize their gains.
Iron Gate has taken a unique approach to tease this eagerly awaited update. Instead of opting for conventional trailers, they have chosen to share insights through narrative-driven videos that follow the adventures of Hervor Blood Tooth as she explores the Far North. These episodes cleverly weave in subtle hints about the upcoming biome, showcasing snow-draped shores and mesmerizing auroras, adding to the anticipation and excitement.
