STALKER 2 PC System Requirements Revealed
High-End Hardware Needed for 4K, High Frame Rates
With launch just a week away (November 20th), the final system requirements for STALKER 2 have been revealed. Even minimum settings demand a capable PC, while high-end specs are essential for smooth 4K gameplay at high frame rates. The "epic" settings are particularly demanding, potentially rivaling Crysis' notorious performance expectations from 2007.

Storage needs have also increased, from 150GB to 160GB. An SSD is strongly recommended for optimal loading times—crucial in a game where quick reactions can be life-saving.
Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR upscaling will be supported, improving visual fidelity without sacrificing performance. While FSR implementation details remain unclear, software ray tracing is confirmed. Hardware ray tracing is currently under development but unlikely for launch, according to Lead Producer Slava Lukyanenka in a Wccftech Gamescom 2024 interview.
